DOWNLOAD this sample business card and try it out!
Open the template and select the layer called "Photo #1" to add your first picture.
Go to File > Place and choose your image.  Click "Place".
HOW TO INSERT YOUR IMAGES IN 2 EASY STEPS!
Your image will appear on the page inside the pre-made window. While holding your shift key, drag from one of the four corners of your image to resize your picture. (holding the shift key while dragging keeps your photo in perfect proportion)  Press Enter/Return when done resizing. ***In some versions of "Elements" you do NOT hold the shift key when resizing.***
COOL TIPS
If you're using CS3 or above and you'd like to use a different image than the one you initially selected, just right click on the photo layer and choose "Replace Contents".
TIP
(Photoshop only, unfortunately Elements does not allow this function.)

Speed up the process further by creating a keyboard shortcut for the "Place" command (instead of having to go in your menu to "File > Place" for every image).  You can do this by going to Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts. Click the little gray arrow next to "File" to expand the list. Select "Place" and a text box area will appear. We chose "Command and H" as our shortcut because it replaces a shortcut that we never, ever use. If you wish to do the same, press "Command and H" when the text area appears. Photoshop may warn you that you're overwriting another shortcut, click Accept.  Now your ready to use your new shortcut instead of going into the menus every time!
TIP
(Photoshop only, unfortunately Elements does not allow this function.)

If your photos are HUGE when you place them into the templates, just go to your preferences under "General" and check the box for "Resize Image During Paste/Place". Ahhh, that's better!
